My work is my life... literally. When asked what I paint, I often reply, "Experiences". My life inspires my Studio work. Places I have gone, people I have met, where I live, work, play, explore... All of these things drive me to create when possible. Therefore, you will likely not see a largely cohesive collection of work, but rather a variety of art where each piece has significance and a real story to tell. Even in my fundraising work, I am inspired by the stories of the people, organizations, or causes I support through.
While the limits enforced by available time each day keep my on hand collection of studio work small, I am available for custom orders as well! |
In college I realized I had a knack for painting in large scale. Shortly after graduating an opportunity led to the launch of a mural career. I worked in several towns across PA, including the completion of 10 public/ private murals on exterior wall spaces.
In all the years I realized the transformative powers of murals, and decided to launch the Murals Talk initiative in 2011. Profits from the sale of studio art, and prints not dedicated to other fundraisers, supports my efforts to use mural construction as a means to build bridges over cultural, social, and economic barriers for youth. Learn more about Murals Talk on my blog site. A group of 6th Graders from St. Patricks School, Waterhouse, Jamaica, posing with the completed mural.
